Twice this season on 911: Lonestar I was convinced that something was going to happen in an episode, and it didn't, only to then have it happen a couple of episodes later when I was no longer expecting it.
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
Thank goodness IMDB updated as fast as it did during 9-1-1 tonight, because I could NOT remember Erica Gimpel's last name, and "that show with the blonde lady who stared" was not enough detail to pull up Profiler (IYKYK).
Anyway, happy to see her on the tv! (I realize she has been in many, many things since Profiler in the 90s.)

Weirdly, that brought me to Cold Case (the fictional show) not Profiler, but I know who Erica Gimpel is (because she was Coco on Fame! and Wallace's mom on Veronic Mars!
I will always remember her as Coco. I wanted to be her.
Oh, that’s where I know her from!
Coco! Oh I loved her. And Leroy.
When I think of Cold Case all I can recall is the MADtv spoof where Stephnie Weir pulls a mouse out of her hairdo.
I am clearly a Doris, but I loved Coco and Leroy and Bruno. I just really loved that show!
I just really loved that show!
The movie soundtrack is still one of my favorites.
Fame was great. Entertainingly, it's the show where (I believe) Ricky Manning got his start as a tv writer: he went on to write for TNG and (most relevant to our interests) Farscape.
Sadly, I had Bruno Martelli's hair for part of high school: it was not a look I recommend.
