I was actually surprised by the last scene.
'Beneath You'
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
I literally thought, "He didn't answer her...if he's dead I'm gonna be *pissed*.
Epic, I was expecting the house to catch fire when she opened the door and when it didn't I was momentarily confused.
When I saw him sitting there unresponsive as Tommy nattered on about all the excitement, I got hit with a strong sense of deja vu to that moment when Buffy found Joyce's body. Made the moment WAY more heartbreaking.
sj, your version at least would have made a bit more sense. As it was, I felt kinda, "What's next? Plague of locusts?"
Matt, maybe that's why I recognized it so quickly! But I didn't go to heartbreak, I was irritated.
Tell you one thing, though. I recently bought a new fire extinguisher for the kitchen and it came in a set of two and I was unsure where to put the second. It's going in or near the bedroom now, for sure!
Matt, yes there was definitely some of that in there.
Oh, this episode definitely prompted me to track down my second extinguisher (beside the sink in the bathroom, as it turns out) and move it to an accessible space next to my bed.
I just re-watched episode one of The Inside.
It holds up pretty well.
"Damn. Did that backwards." Still funny.
I just started watching this week's 911: Lone Star, and damn it's intense.
