Art Crawl!!!

I have a baby sweater that is almost done - I just need to sew up the sides and block it. I'm so excited because this is the most complicated thing I've ever knitted and it looks totaly sweaterish.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

holy crap, those nautili (sp?) are adorable!

I can imagine the baby tank on a baby. Just not mine. But baby clothes are more gratifying to knit because they go so quickly.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I showed the first disc of Wonderfalls to a friend tonight. God, what a great show.

On the DVDs, "Pink Flamingos" is episode 2 instead of episode 4. What's the correct order? It felt weird to watch it in that order. Darrin's leg healed pretty quickly, I guess (but now that I think about it, I don't think he was wearing a cast in "Crime Dog" either).

Also, has anyone heard from Lilty Cash?

Ooh, I just found her on Facebook.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I've only watched them in DVD order but I have thought they didn't play quite right in the middle.

wait... were only four episodes broadcast?

Trust my rage

Maybe it's in the Wonderfalls thread, but isn't there an official order per Tim? I'm too lazy to look but I do seem to remember that.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C-

As I understand it, the order on the DVDs was the correct order. Fox, in its wisdom aired them out of order. Does this sound familiar?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Airing out of order is not actually a bad thing, I'd say. If your show has shit ratings from the first episode, you need every single good episode up on screen.

On the DVDs, "Pink Flamingos" is episode 2 instead of episode 4. What's the correct order?

For the DVD release, Todd Holland bumped "Pink Flamingos" up to episode 2 because he wanted an episode he directed to come second. (IMHO, "Karma Chameleon" is the stronger second episode, because it explains why Jaye is the way she is, her relationship with her family, and Aaron actually gets some screen time.)

Also, Bryan Fuller swapped the episodes 6 and 7 (compared to the order in which they were written and produced), because he retrospectively decided that the episodes would go better in this order. (I don't completely agree with that, and now if you're watching in DVD order, you get "Muffin Buffalo," with a clip from "Barrel Bear" in it's "Previously...," before you actually get Barrel Bear.")

Interestingly (or stupidly) FOX would've aired "Barrel Bear" second-to-last, had the show made it that far, because they felt it was a weaker episode (and now I'm actually agreeing with FOX).

ETA: Agreeing with FOX that it was a weaker episode, not that it should've aired second-to-last. That would've been stupid and completely illogical.
