I wanna die in bed surrounded by fat grandchildren, but guess that's off the menu.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I liked the finale fine, but aside from any other issues this season, I just didn't think it was scary. Last season literally gave me nightmares!

I don't think it was as scary as previous seasons, but I still found parts of it very scary, especially Papa Legba.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

They pretty much had to kill off Misty, or Misty would just keep bringing everyone back from the dead.

That whole side story with the neighbor (Patti LuPone and her son), did that serve any purpose?

No. And I was disappointed that Nan was the only one who didn't manage to come back from the dead.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes. Though I would totally watch the Nan and Papa Legba Show.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Now having watched I have to admit one of the better episodes in what has NOT been a good season. The essay PC linked above pretty much nails the season. I do note that the afterlife is shown as just as unfair as the mortal coil. Misty gets to suffer in hell eternally. Poquito is tortured eternally to make life miserable for her Mother. Serial killer Axeman gets to live in his personal heaven because that is Fiona's personal hell. Makes me wonder what Nan's fate is: did she end up in her personal hell? Also does anyone besides me think Spalding "helped" Kyle dispose of Madison's body because he wants to use it as a doll again. Spalding seems to really be enjoying life as a ghost.

I have not watched anything but season 1, but I find it interesting that this season was so disliked here, but seems to be the most popular season to a larger viewing audience. More press if nothing else. AM I wrong?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Was it the most popular? I thought S2 was very popular as well?

I was going by what I saw posted on FB and saw in the limited entertainment media I view. NOT REAL DATA, but casual observation.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's gotten the highest ratings out of the three seasons. Like, ratings so high it's just behind Breaking Bad and Walking Dead when it comes to cable series.
