So, if I bailed on Season One after 2 episodes, would it be worth it to try Season Two or Three?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
Amy, I was just going to make sure you were watching this! Dear People of the World: DO NOT MAKE A ZOMBIE BOYFRIEND!!! It never works out.
Right?!
Oops. Prematurely hit Post. quester, it depends why you bailed. If you didn't like the characters or setting, it's completely different every season. If you bailed for the violence or disturbing stuff, you're probably better off not watching.
Quester, if you didn't like the craziness, I wouldn't bother. If you didn't like the content and/or Dylan McDermott, give it a shot.
I'm liking the campy style a more this season. Last season was just too much of a hodgepodge of WTFery that didn't cohere, and Season 1 had almost no characters that were enjoyable to watch (Jessica Lange's was about it). While I don't care much about what's going on with the younger characters, Lange, Kathy Bates, and Angela Bassett are electric for every minute of their screen time.
And Patti Lupone! WHAT.
I am kind of surprised that this season is so woman-centered. I like it, mind you.
And all the men are monsters.
Well, except the butler and one-off characters like the doctors and detectives.
The butler is questionable, though, because he does Fiona's dirty work. And the missing tongue makes him quasi-freakish, if not specifically a monster.
Yeah, I was kind of including the butler as a monster, in the broadest sense.
