I'm liking the campy style a more this season. Last season was just too much of a hodgepodge of WTFery that didn't cohere, and Season 1 had almost no characters that were enjoyable to watch (Jessica Lange's was about it). While I don't care much about what's going on with the younger characters, Lange, Kathy Bates, and Angela Bassett are electric for every minute of their screen time.
Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Most fucked up show on TV. Masturbation and minotaur sex! I was trying to explain this show to my mother and I couldn't even...just, no.
But it's some damn good TV.
