I already know what I'm gonna call her. Got a name all picked out...

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Go, all the smokers who aren't anymore! Congratulations!

Strawberry disappointment.

Yay Cindy! I gave up five years ago and have become the most obnoxious and huffy anti-smoker ever.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Go, Cindy! I've seen how hard it is to quit (my father failed at quitting two times before he succeeded), hang in there. You and your family will be all the much happier for it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Go, Cindy!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

scarf update - 22 inches so far. Goal is 60 and then to add the decorative trim on the ends. WHEE!

I smoked 20-30 Marlboro Lights for about 15 years until six months ago. Champix (the UK version of Chantix) was a god send for making me give up. I also recommend Wrigley's Airwaves. The strongest chewing gum out there. Really good substitute for a cigarette.

Cindy, that's fantastic. So hard and so worth it. Go, you. And Tamara and Simon. And anyone else who's working on that.

Man. I have an afghan somewhere that I started crocheting during my convalescence (there's a word I didn't know how to spell) after surgery a couple of years ago. I should find that. I don't think I've ever finished a crochet project. Maybe I should start with a scarf instead of an afghan.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

A co-worker has the Dollhouse pilot script and is taunting me with it.

Have you seen it in it's physicalness, Tamara? After all, it is April 1st.

I did see its physicalness. Yesterday. She knows what a big geek I am so she teased me a bit. All in fun. I don't know if I even want to know anything about it yet. It's a dilemma.

A good dilemma though.
