The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
AHS is super cray-cray. I cannot believe this show. I have never seen an ep of this show before. Dayummmm.
Duuuude. le n, hie thee to Netflix and immerse yourself in the full-on creepy/crazy of S1!
I had no idea how the story would be structured, but I like what they're doing.
Yep, really digging it so far. It somehow seems less insane than previous seasons, in a way.
Really?!
Sure, there may be a minotaur, but I think the stuff surrounding the young witches—whom I love—is surprisingly grounded, comparably. Sort of.
Look, anything is less insane after the season that took place IN AN INSANE ASYLUM.
With aliens. And Satan. And Nazis.
True.
And I get the whole blood/womanly power thing, but I guess the definition of "witch" here is a little broader than I was expecting. That seems more like a curse to me, although I can see the point he could be trying to make with that, too.
Yeah, it's Halloween witchcraft at this point, not Wicca. So much for "And it harm none."
Maybe there'll be some explanation of the whole power structure. So far two/four of the new gen are murderers, the Supreme is insano-Where'sMaImmortalatah!-murderer, Madame Lalaurie is plain ol' evilcakes (and dude, WAY historically evilcakes, ugh, I've read a lot over the years). So far, I'm in Marie Leveau's court, despite the fact that voodoo and witchcraft are NOT synonymous.
But it ought to be fun!
Wait, they're using LaLaurie and Laveau? Shit, I may have to watch this.
