Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Because books.

Did anyone else watch the end of American Horror Story S2? I caught the last one today, and actually sobbed when Jude died . My reaction sort of surprised me, but I think it was earned. (And Tim wrote it!) And, always, whoever chooses music for this series is brilliant.

This season was more ambitious than last season, and succeeded pretty well, I think. I'm definitely in for S3.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, that was exactly my reaction. Hugely ambitious, kind of insane -- well, no, totally insane, but really unlike anything else.

And that was refreshing enough that I loved it. Now, it's also fun to try and predict where the next season will be centered, and who the returning cast members will play. Constance Langdon and Sister Jude were so different, it was amazing to watch her in both roles.

I've possibly had enough Dylan McDermott, though.

I was thinking that the guy who played Kit was almost unrecognizable as the same actor.

There's talk that Tessa(?) Farmiga, the daughter from the first season, might be back for next season.

Oh, I liked her! And I'd love to see her play against the mopey-Violet type.

Evan Peters played Kit, and he was really great. The fake Massachusetts accent bugged me once in a while, but he was completely different this season. Kit was nothing like Tate.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, he really impressed me this season.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm glad that Kit married a nice girl named Allyson, and that she wasn't slaughtered by a serial killer. Again.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sometimes it's the little things.

I didn't even think of that! Nice shout out.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just watched the last two episodes of this season of AHS. I didn't enjoy this season as much as the last one (it felt too packed with subplots to me), but I thought it ended beautifully, especially Tim's episode.

I've possibly had enough Dylan McDermott, though.

I do not understand these words in this order.

Ha! I didn't pick up on that.
