Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I mainlined like the first 5 or 6. I really dig it. I'm committed.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Great news, Kristen! I'll get to check it out, yay.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Will Vampire Diaries be there? Cause that would RAWK.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I've been advised this is the thread for crafts. Because - for you serious knitters - I got a catalogue from Dover books and they have new editions of three Alice Starmore books. One on Fair Isle knits, one on Aran, and one with charts for color knitting.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Does anyone else feel slightly, "wait, what's the catch?" American Horror Story renewed. [link]

I don't know how spoilery it gets because I didn't read it, but Tim's link on FB wasn't working anymore so I went with the next one on the list.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, Toddson. I am not, in point of fact, serious. But that sounds super interesting.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I originally posted it in Natter, but was pointed this way. In Natter there were postings that the sweater designs tend to be blocky ... there was mention of someone else who does better garment designs. Also of a book called "Sweater Quest" by a woman who was determined to knit a Starmore Fair Isle sweater; I found it amusing, the knitters, less so.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh no, I found the book amusing - but it seemed like great effort for a poor result. (Although she made friends with the ladies from Mason-Dixon Knitting which is kind of an excellent result.)
