Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

I think the truly important issue for tonight's meeting is...

What should I wear?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

hot pants, glitter top, platform boots, AND a beret!

What is even happening?

Blue Fairy Costume. Duh.

Kristen - Feb 09, 2008 2:45:36 pm PST #42 of 4535

Okay. I don't think I own any of those things that y'all listed.

Jeans, tee and a jacket, it is.

You don't own a Blue Fairy costume? I'm feeling so disillusioned.

Good luck at the meeting, Kristen. I hope the deal is good, and that if it is, the WGA ratifies it.

HA! I did own one. Like, five sizes ago.

Meeting was interesting and fairly upbeat. I think it took three hours to get to the first truly pissed off guy. We're going to vote, probably on Tuesday, about rescinding the strike order, which is separate from the contract ratification process. I think people could be back at work on Wednesday or Thursday.

ETA: At least, that's what it sounded like at the meeting. There will be meetings tomorrow of the Negotiating Committee and Board of Directors and formal decisions will be made and announced after those.

EATA: Oh and the World Socialist Web Site very kindly left a flyer on my car telling me to reject the contract deal. Apparently, we need a new socialist strategy to succeed.

Kristen, truly pissed off in which direction?
