[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Saw the finale of Chicago Hope. I can definitely see how they could have gotten a second season, but it was a good way to go out under the circumstances.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Saw the finale of Chicago Hope.

You're only a decade late!

Compassionately intolerant

I liked Chicago Code a lot. Not as much as Boomtown, but still, I would have enjoyed another season.

I'm nowhere near as bitter about Chicago Code (got it right this time) as I was about Terriers. Which still isn't out on DVD. Grumble grumble.

Granted, they weren't really the same kind of show, so probably not a fair comparison.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am really bitter about Terriers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't work out what sort of show Chicago Code would have been in its second season. Courtroom drama? Cop show with different focus?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm not saying that I'm proud or that it is fair, but I think my bitterness over Terriers was a factor in not enjoying Chicago Code. I've recorded it to watch when I have less baggage. I'm ready to like the next show.
