The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Those are brilliant. It's like something people would say on Extras.

Oh Jackal! I feel your pain. Did you see my gem from a few months ago?

When asked about her grammatical ability, one of my students wrote the following: ”I am very good on grammatical concepts. I spent years learning it, so it enjoys me to use it in my writing.”

Not sure whether to laugh or cry, I shared this gem with one of my colleagues. He emailed back a single line. It read, “That was the most funingly thing I have been reading since three or more days from then.”

So no worries. We both rock.

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

On the plus side, at least your student has confidence in their ability or lack thereof.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

When asked about her grammatical ability, one of my students wrote the following: ”I am very good on grammatical concepts. I spent years learning it, so it enjoys me to use it in my writing.”

Is the girl's last name Smeagol?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

”I am very good on grammatical concepts. I spent years learning it, so it enjoys me to use it in my writing.”

There was a time in my life that I could have written this sentence purposefully, with tongue firmly planted in cheek. And gotten away with it. Had a teacher offer us extra credit for memorizing Hamlet's "To Be or Not To Be" soliloquy overnight. When it was my turn to recite, I came out with "Jabberwocky", got a few laughs, and the points. Still had to have the soliloquy down pat for the exam the next week, though.

Her confidence is the freakiest part!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Who did that study that showed incompetent people are more confident of their capabilities than people who can actually do the tasks correctly?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We need to send that study to JZ ex-jackhole bosses. Then ask how confident that one is on his reading people skills.

Kelly Manners is Dollhouse's line producer. I don't even know what a line producer is, but it sounds... linear. I am guessing they are the hands-on producer on set?
