I love Lie To Me. Though I feel a bit cheated by the sudden erasure of Mekhi Phifer. I thought he was a good addition to the cast. The father/daughter relationship is good, and I'm glad to see that's still going strong. But they've downplayed the romance and the two other employees.
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
I find it enjoyable enough, but I'd rather have an actually good show in place of Tim Roth (who I love!) cocking his head and asking a "surprisingly insightful" question, followed by Foster explaining to whoever's watching outside The Cube what facial tick told Lightman to ask that.
I think I may also be getting my fill of brilliant but troubled professionals on House.

I agree with you on this. He was the most compelling of the supporting cast. It'll be intersting to see what they do with him on Torchwood.
But they've downplayed the romance and the two other employees.
I'll also agree with this - this season has been better. The biggest problem has been that the episodes have gotten so intermitent that it always feels like it's being cancelled. I probably didn't let myself get as attached to it as I might have under other circumstances (say, a House-sized popularity).
I only watch because it is better than whatever is on the CW at the time.
I only watch because Tim Roth is a sexy little weasel.
I am Scrappy.
(stands) I am Scrappy!
(slowly gets to her feet) I am Scrappy.
If I can substitute "snarky bastard" I'll stand with you, but otherwise no.
I have been in fascination and intrigue with Roth since Rob Roy. When he's onscreen it's like everybody else loses a few degrees of vibrance.
What is that?
