Damn! Evil cliffhanger!!

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
ACK! Now that ending was just mean.
I agree that it was an evil cliffhanger, but if Britt goes to Mexico he gives up being able to be a father to the baby. I can't imagine he would go back on his word on that.
Oh, man.
I don't know if I can express how much I want a second season with Neal McDonough opposite our heroes. It's a lot.
That reminded me a bit of the end of Angel actually. Less drama in the offing (no dragons) but an open ending I can live with. However...

Oh HELLS YES!!!

Yes, please.
Ok, so I know I missed stuff midseason, but damn. I really like the show going where it did narratively and I hope Brit serves the time, because shows never do that. But it won`t be a good scene for him in there, and this show, were I to have more of it (please, please) would deal with that.
Practically speaking Katie should look at the results of the paternity test if just for the baby`s health reasons.
It`s funny that Hank should be healthier after all this. And Gretchen`s stuff was harsh, but it`s probably not all bad that she got to say it and Hank got to hear it. It doesn`t make their pain any less, but I believe they really do have a chance at moving their lives forward. Poor Gretch.

And to know if there could possibly be any custody issues in the future with the professor.

I think she meant it, but I think she was also angry and grieving and needed to vent at someone. Despite all that they had been through, I think she knew Hank was someone she could do that with.
You know what little thing I loved? Gustavson smoking on the porch with Hank and nobody talking about it.
It's a cute ending - go straight to go straight, and it's a choice Brit made for Katie before. But I could be convinced that he chose the left turn, too.
Oh, Gretchen. Given that she was talking to Hank while he was under arrest for killing her husband, that was remarkably gentle. None of what she said was anything she hadn't said before, except "you wouldn't do this".

TCG loved that bit too.
