'The Killer In Me'

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Practically speaking Katie should look at the results of the paternity test if just for the baby`s health reasons.

And to know if there could possibly be any custody issues in the future with the professor.

And Gretchen`s stuff was harsh, but it`s probably not all bad that she got to say it and Hank got to hear it.

I think she meant it, but I think she was also angry and grieving and needed to vent at someone. Despite all that they had been through, I think she knew Hank was someone she could do that with.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You know what little thing I loved? Gustavson smoking on the porch with Hank and nobody talking about it.

It's a cute ending - go straight to go straight, and it's a choice Brit made for Katie before. But I could be convinced that he chose the left turn, too.

Oh, Gretchen. Given that she was talking to Hank while he was under arrest for killing her husband, that was remarkably gentle. None of what she said was anything she hadn't said before, except "you wouldn't do this".

TCG loved that bit too.

Man, I didn't even register that.

So, if they get another season (PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!!!!), do they pick up a year later when Brit gets out, or do they start right around where they left off? Just wondering what other people's predictions are.

I can't imagine Hank would have been quiet during a year, but it would be interesting to have details filled in as we were told about them.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm just keeping everything I've got crossed that we'll get another season.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I hope they went straight and it's a year later when we see them again and hear about (or slowly discover) what happened in their lives during that time.

That's just me being greedy though. I'll be happy with whatever choice they made if we just get to see a second season.

I was a little worried about Hank's sobriety when Hank was taking down his map and push pins. I hope he gets a project soon.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Man, doing all that stuff with Jason to make it plausible enough for Hank to be arrested was devilishly brilliant.

So the blackmail photo was of an illegitimate Mexican kid, right? That's the implication I got.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Arresting Hank and then listing all the things that he did to Jason made me question my POV for a few seconds. I was like, "wait a minute. Maybe Hank WAS stalking Jason"!! But then I snapped out of it and realized I was only caught up in the HSQ of the episode. Of course Hank was stalking Jason, but it was Hank's fuck uppedness, not what the cops were saying. Show had me so paranoid that when Hank's ex partner showed up to let him out of the cop car, I said, "oh no!" because I thought he was on the payroll and I knew that would have broken Hank's heart. Mine too because I like the ex-partner.

Okay, that's a cleaner idea than I had. I was imagining child pornography, frankly.
