I think Britt will forgive his best friend. He'll be pissed, but it isn't like the secret was kept for very long.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
BTW, the other thing I really liked about the way it all went down is that Britt wasn't blissfully ignorant about Katie's lies. He saw she was sick and he didn't buy that she was sick from food poisoning. He pressed her on it.
Almost any other show would have the man walk away and say "maybe she was just sick."
le_nubian, that is one of my pet peeves with so many stories, often because the writer wants to keep dragging the angst out and teasing the audience. This is angsty enough this way! Let it all hang out!
Loved this ep. The DH and I like Donal Logue, but LOVE Micheal Raymond James. He's just so damn layered and amazing.

I know! I'm still gobsmacked and heartbroken Rene was the bad guy in S1 True Blood. I LOVED Rene! And I love Britt, too.
Jeezy, that was brutal. And so good. Love this show, love Donal Logue, love MRJ. .
this is one fucked up show.
That. Perfectly fucked up.
LOVE Micheal Raymond James
And That. That tiny look with the half-smile he gave to Katie, just before the opening credits? Slayed me.
And oh, Britt. Oh, Katie (sign me up for the "pot, meet kettle" club with the "you weren't ready" speech. And FTR, IMHO he was more ready than her).
Good show. Please get a second season. And please don't let Katie to be brutally killed in the next ep, or in the second Britt will decide he want her back, a-la Tara. And I would also like a pony and a teleporter, if that's OK.
If this is still the thread for "Moon" fans, they might be interested in this simulation of throwing rocks at the earth:
I care about these characters. They are so flawed and human but I want them to somehow make it to the next day.
What Cass said has stayed with me. This pretty much sums up the show for me.
In the interim between last Wednesday and next Wednesday, I keep thinking about Katie. Brit had Hank, but Katie would be alone. I guess she has Winston, if Brit doesn't take him.

Me too, please.
Katie would be alone.
From rewatching the early episodes, I have the strong impression that Hank & Britt met through Katie. Which makes sense, given that she was a bartender. It also casts some of the interactions between them in a different light.
