Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Forrest ,'Conversations with Dead People'

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Thoughts on "Steel Neena" the theme song which I gather was written specifically for "Terriers":

1)Far from a favorite song, but the really dark lyrics combined with the sunny surf-rock melody is perfect for the show:

2) We hear what sounds like only part of the song, but for all we know that all that was written. In a way a perfect metaphor for most Minear shows. Maybe there are more lyrics somewhere which we will only get to hear if there is a second season.

It'll be for sale on iTunes next week, per Shawn Ryan.

Are there more lyrics than we hear on the show?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Does it sound like it belongs on The Magnetic Fields 69 Love songs to anyone else?

Yeah, like I said don't really love it as a song. But really appropriate for show.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, I kind of love it. I find myself singing it in my head and nodding along at random times.

It's also been retitled Gunfight Epiphany. Lessee, there's a longer version here with lyrics [link] But that's not complete either; there are several more verses in the middle. I'll see if I trust my transcription skillz.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I really like it. It sort of encapsulates that OB area for me with the surface charm and something less easily attractive underneath.

They showed the old Java Joe's building in the last ep. I don't know if the location person has the same nostalgia or if there is just a lot recognizable on the small area they showcase.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Everything makes so much more sense now. Thank you!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

all caught up on terriers and loving it. 2 questions: what was hank using the credit card numbers *for*, and what is a "javelin man"?
