Saffron: You won't tell anyone about me breaking down? Mal: I won't. Saffron: Then I won't tell anyone how easily I got your gun out of your holster. Mal: I'll take that as a kindness.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cornithos being the new Quartermaine for, um, the last fifteen-twenty years and thus just a byword for the GH shenanigans.

Dude, MB has played Sonny since 1993... That seems like so much less time than it really was.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

GH and I never broke up, per se, but grew apart about twenty years ago (how have I gotten old enough to casually mention something happening twenty year ago?), and have lived quietly estranged lives since then. Really, I think we never got over the halcyon days of the early 80s, and since then have continued on fond memories alone.

I'm really needing to break up entirely with GH. I got drawn back in by Lucky, but while I like watching him, his storyline is boring the crap out of me.

Reserving judgment on the new Michael and wondering if they switched actors because they intend to do something interesting with the character that the other guy couldn't pull off.

Man, I haven't watched GH since my junior year in high school. The girl who sat in front of me in English and I used to talk about the show every day. How we loved Tom and Simone. I wonder whatever happened to them.

Our wings are not tired.

I would happily talk GH, but I am more than a week behind due to moving and general craziness. Haven't seen the new Michael yet, but never got into the old one.

Watching soap trials makes me crazy. I can only imagine how anyone involved in law or court procedure would manage. Everything about the trial to the point I am at has made me nuts. I don't buy the prosecutor at all, must be a friend of TPTB. I'm used to soap absurdity, but the trial antics are worse than usual.

I don't know when I'll get caught up. I need a day or two off.

My exact thoughts. The prosecutor, her relationship to Jax, putting kids on the stand...etc. Ergh.

I'm also not loving the pseudo resolution of the Christina/Keefer saga.

In fact, except for Michael Learned showing up as a sassy old lady, none of the storylines are grabbing me.

Oh the prosecutor is awful but I ff the trial stuff. It is strengthening my "I really hate Jax" resolve though.

I'm holding off deciding on the Christina/Keefer stuff only because if they make it informational enough, well it's for a good cause.

I was kinda intrigued when Michael killed Claudia because, wow, that could have gotten interesting. Sadly, I was too optimistic and just want it over.

I really need to break up with this show for good. Or at least just read recaps so I can have the 20 minutes of my life that skipping through the show takes free.

That is the only thing that makes me tolerate it, although it is mostly FF material. Behind the rest of you, but the dad creeps me out big time.

Although I am behind, I still enjoy it enough to keep watching. I watch during lunch or when I am too tired to read before bed. It purges my mind of my daily stresses, helps me relax and unwind. It is a choice between GH or pot so I probably made the better choice for now since I do have teenagers living at home.

I just figured out why they hired the new Michael on GH. 1) Can act, 2) Michael is now a sympathetic character, which, given the psychopathic build up they'd given him, could not have been pulled off otherwise.

I was momentarily excited about this turn of events, but now they are turning the younger kids against Dante again. Blegh.

I've decided that the show is trying everything it can to get me to stop watching for a while. And it's working.
