And it's for FX. . . does FX have a Standards & Practices Department?
Based on the commentaries for the Shield (and things may have changed since then) FX is quite comfortable with violence, and generally okay with everything short of the F-bomb. I think they get nervous about nudity. More with women then men. Presumably because of the time Janet Jackson's nipple almost destroyed civilization.
Thanks, Dana. Poor Tom Pelphrey jumped on another sinking ship.
"Tim has been such a great partner to the studio," 20th TV chairman Gary Newman said. "He is as versatile as any writer we've ever been in business with -- he can do genre, action, relationship, drama -- and he has worked on an incredible number of series for us."
They fail to mention his unforgettable work on Buffy.

I missers you too!
I have presents for Tim, make plans, and then something terrible happens. And I can't get over there. The universe is preventing me from getting down the street.
They had one of those Big Damn Serenitys (Serenities?) at Dragon*Con. It was shiiiiiiny, and I mean that literally AND figuratively.
Man, that X-Files spec is a thing of legend. I really want to read it.
It's been a week since we first heard this announcement and I still know nothing about this new show.
I feel as if fandom has let me down somehow.
