They had one of those Big Damn Serenitys (Serenities?) at Dragon*Con. It was shiiiiiiny, and I mean that literally AND figuratively.
Man, that X-Files spec is a thing of legend. I really want to read it.
It's been a week since we first heard this announcement and I still know nothing about this new show.
I feel as if fandom has let me down somehow.
I'm always surprised to see how much of television writing is "Oh, let's just write this cryptic thing and we'll explain it somehow later."

Sometimes it's just done better.
Sometimes I'm amazed at how the conciously mapped out decisions are the ones that end up not quite fitting, and the fixes and workarounds end up being serendipitous and brilliant. Not always, mind.
