I just heard that As the World Turns has been canceled
Damn, now I am going to have to start watching that one again just to see how they end it, and I haven't watched ATWT in years and years.
How many soaps are left at this point?
Six, I think: Y&R, B&B, AMC, OLTL, GH, and DOOL. Unless any of them have been canceled recently, and I didn't hear about it.
And it's for FX. . . does FX have a Standards & Practices Department?

The actress who had played Lily forever left about a year ago, maybe? Looks like she got out while the getting was good.

Based on the commentaries for the Shield (and things may have changed since then) FX is quite comfortable with violence, and generally okay with everything short of the F-bomb. I think they get nervous about nudity. More with women then men. Presumably because of the time Janet Jackson's nipple almost destroyed civilization.
