The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

And to bring it back round to soap talk, the lead in the Knight Rider movie played Tad's son, Jamie Martin, on All My Children.

Where he was really just not good, and I never anticipated him getting another job -- much less a prime-time gig. And definitely not a prime-time reboot of a series.

The evil is this way?

But he's pretty!!

Yeah, I was gonna say what Narrator did. I think the guy who plays JR Chandler (Adam's son) on AMC is also terrible, but easy on the eyes.

isn't that the guy who played Lucky for a brief time on GH?

Yeah, he's the guy who did his best to demolish all the good work Jonathan Jackson did.

And the pretty is the only reason why I could ever figure Justin Bruenig got the AMC role. Anything after that, I'm at a loss.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I've been meaning to ask our H'wood Buffistas about this.

After the last strike, supposedly a tsunami of scripts hit the town when it was over, as the writers polished old scripts and worked on stuff on their own.

Any sign of the same is happening now?

Kristen - Feb 22, 2008 4:32:44 am PST #214 of 4535

I'm honestly not sure if there has been/will be a flurry of new specs hitting the market. (I do know that UA was deluged with scripts after they signed the interim deal with the WGA. But I'm not sure if those were brand new specs or what.)

I've talked to a lot of writers who didn't write at all during the strike. I would suspect that, if there is a flurry of specs, it will hit in March. After us non-writing folks finish the things we started when the strike ended.

Kristen, I have been skipping and such, but I was under the impression you were a writing folk. Or am I confusing you with the other Kristen?

Considering he started out as an Abercrombie & Fitch model, I suspect you are absolutely right!

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

CaBil, I think she meant currently employed, but I'm not Kristen so what do I know?
