I was thinking about that, Matt. The handler also doesn't seem to have expected this.
Tonight's dialogue feels more Joss-like. Though I missed the writer's name.
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

The writer's credit was DeKnight.
Is this week's client the Middleman?
OMG! I was trying to place him, and just kept coming up with a Benton Fraser vibe.
Also, why drink from a canteen you discovered under a jacket when there's fresher water out of a tap?
Not very pleased with the direction this is going. I promised myself 3 episodes, but I might not come back for more.
I think that's the fatal flaw, there. If there's something that's not getting "erased" so that the active can retain the memory of trusting their handler, then that's probably how artifacts can get left behind...
I think it is seriously creepy and not something I would normally watch.
This is a much better episode than the first, imo. It feels more Jossverse.
Oh, Joss. I can go with the human trafficking, but does the pathetically pining next door neighbor really have to be the only curvy/fuller figured/"normal"-sized woman on the show? Really??
sigh.
But, she's getting more flashes. I wonder if whatever he drugged her with is accelerating the process.
