I look forward to the cable shows in June and July so yeah, I get that.
And I love Terminator: The Summer Chronicles. I just think NBC is a little full of it right now with their huge success with winners like American Gladiator and the suckfest that was Knight Rider. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
the suckfest that was Knight Rider
That got 12 million viewers.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Yet, pre-strike, I watched more shows on NBC than on any other network, I think.
Rescue Me is also a summer show which does weell.
That got 12 million viewers.
I'd be curious about the falloff. I watched because I couldn't not. But oh, the torment.

Well, it was only a backdoor pilot. They haven't ordered it to series yet.
Rescue Me is also a summer show which does weell.
The 4400
also did well, at one point bringing in USA's highest ratings ever. That may have just been the miniseries/first season, though.
Given the way they let it peter out with a much-delayed announcement of cancellation, I'd guess it wasn't pulling in good numbers at the end.

WTF? It picked up viewers?
Knight Rider was that bad, huh? How do you screw that up?
Maybe word of mouth spread with people telling friends and relatives they had to see how crappy it was for themselves?
Knight Rider was that bad, huh?
It was actually worse than I expected.
