yes, that's what I said! but you have actual cred
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

I hope he does. I was thinking the show must have been banking on the strike ending soon while filming this week's episodes. All week has been shot inside a plane that only has "two hours of fuel and even less oxygen." All Week. All--Weeeeeek.
Damnit, you would think these people would learn not to fly anywhere together.
It's made last weeks Shirley Jones appearance, maternal revelation and death within six episodes seem like a whirlwind. Even with her magic lucky charms accent.
All Week. All--Weeeeeek.
Days has that part of soapyness down. 2 hours can last a full week, and kids grown from infancy to teens in 2 years. Beats Reality.

Huh, I stand corrected.

There also is supposed to be a favored nations clause in regard to SAG negotiations isn't there?
I don't think the favored nations clause (although agreed on verbally) made it into the written deal. I could be wrong.
MFN was a verbal agreement on New Media only.
In disappointing news, it seems that a lot of shows won't be back on the air until next season and the folks who work on those shows will be unemployed for, at least, another few months. A large number of BTL workers on the TV side may end up being unemployed for a total of 5-10 months, depending on the show.
What does the favored nations clause mean in this context?
*stomps on glib off-topic reply* All this talk of Most Favoured Nation is giving me all sorts of flashbacks to high school debate, the year we did China....
I have no reply for libkitty. But yay for the writers getting a deal that doesn't totally suck, and extra yay for Kristen giving us the no-rumours low-down! (This is the only place I've been getting strike news from.)
