Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ha, it does appear to be! I don't know who the woman is.

That's Mere Smith.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Awesome! I've had a powerful sense of Mere's words in my head for yonks, but I never had the face to complete the picture until now.

Our wings are not tired.

Cute picture.

I was sent a link to a MySpace page for a writer on Days that was fired during the strike. It doesn't look like he was rehired. [link] The fun part was looking at his front page, or whatever you MySpace people call it and seeing pictures from his favorite shows. Doctor Who, Torchwood, Buffy, Angel, BSG, The Office. I forget what else, but it cracked me up. The good television viewing must help balance the whole DOOL thing.

I thought that the agreement was that writers would be rehired.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Not all. There's contract conditions.

Apparently the head writer and pretty much all the staff writers for Days were fired during the strike and they used scab writers. I don't have any good rumor source, a friend that knows I care about writers sent me the MySpace link.

Laura, as part of the strike settlement, those writers are supposed to get their jobs back.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

as part of the strike settlement, those writers are supposed to get their jobs back.

I hope he does. I was thinking the show must have been banking on the strike ending soon while filming this week's episodes. All week has been shot inside a plane that only has "two hours of fuel and even less oxygen." All Week. All--Weeeeeek.

Damnit, you would think these people would learn not to fly anywhere together.

It's made last weeks Shirley Jones appearance, maternal revelation and death within six episodes seem like a whirlwind. Even with her magic lucky charms accent.
