The current order is for 13. They could have all of them done, I guess. I think it would take some seriously shit ratings for it to get canceled before the first 13 are aired, but as Allyson says there are absolutely no guarantees.

I'm not sure anyone is in love with Dollhouse at this point
On a personal note I think fans are far more interested in Buffy season 8 than Dollhouse at the moment. Once the Fox promo campaign runs in earnest, things will change. But right now post-Chosen Buffy is getting noticed a lot more than what ever Joss is cooking up next.
