Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

does faked deaths include when people thought you were dead, but you came back? i.e. Roman (Wayne Northrup Roman, not John Black) falling off a cliff.

Our wings are not tired.

Didn't they kill her already?

Yes, thankfully. She slept with Stephano's dad, Santo. I really wish they would cancel this show and put me out of my misery.

I hear that Kin Shriner's hair was dreadful on GH today.

Yes, yes it was. Well, yesterday anyway.

I haven't canned marmalade. The last thing I canned was mango chutney and it was wonderful. Also, mango is very slimy.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Stefano first entered the show as an organized crime kingpin. Throughout the years, he has become more gothic, especially through his firm belief that he will never die. According to Stefano, he is like a Phoenix, and he will always rise from the ashes to his former glory and power. He is the seventh son of the seventh son; as a 300 year-old DiMera family legend dictates, such a son will never die. He certainly has proven this time and time again. Stefano has "died" ten times, coming back stronger than ever each time. Because of this, he holds the record in Salem for the most faked deaths.

Which, of course, renders Salem's Annual Most Deaths Faked Awards Banquet boring as shit.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Awww... I just stopped by for the first time today, clicked the new announcement in Press, and saw (1) Jon's announcement that the strike is over and the Random Quotes are back, and (2) the first Random Quote in months: Mal saying, "And so we live to fight another day."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ha, it does appear to be! I don't know who the woman is.

That's Mere Smith.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Awesome! I've had a powerful sense of Mere's words in my head for yonks, but I never had the face to complete the picture until now.

Our wings are not tired.

Cute picture.

I was sent a link to a MySpace page for a writer on Days that was fired during the strike. It doesn't look like he was rehired. [link] The fun part was looking at his front page, or whatever you MySpace people call it and seeing pictures from his favorite shows. Doctor Who, Torchwood, Buffy, Angel, BSG, The Office. I forget what else, but it cracked me up. The good television viewing must help balance the whole DOOL thing.

I thought that the agreement was that writers would be rehired.
