A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

The arctic has not been continuously frozen for hundreds of millions of years.
Human existence would not take up only 18 inches of an ice core.
Since it's summer in Eureka during this episode, it's summer in the Arctic. An Arctic that each season gets closer to being ice free.
If they want an impressive ice core, take it from Antarctica.
Where'd the truck come from, and how did it get from the Arctic to eureka without being seen?
people stop asking questions -- just look at the pretty people and hope nothing bad happens to most of them
Enjoying Eureka and keeping in mind that it is science fiction. Fun stuff. Not so much with the sense making.
Also, watched Terminator 2 yesterday on Bravo and was delighted since I had completely forgotten that Joe Morton was in that movie.
But GDL! I would love to have gone to see him, but I would not trust the room.
Belatedly, I DID go to one of Gareth David-Lloyd's panels. He was adorable. He talked about Shakespeare and mocked Keanu Reeves and sang Tom Jones; the audience was an unfortunate but relatively minor irritation.
So ... did anyone else brave "Robin Hood" last night?
... whistles nonchalantly ...
It was ... yeah. They're totally off the rails now.
I have tivoed it but not watched it.
They're totally off the rails now.
Wasn't it always been going that way?
I had heard that CRAXY ruled this season but I didn't realize it started in the first episode.
I realize that in the context of Eureka stupidity this hardly rates, but... "and MIT doesn't have a medical school therefore look, robotics instead!" There are something like 15 medical schools in Boston -- Harvard's not close enough? Sometimes I feel like people think MIT has its own state.
Er, also, I assumed that boyfriend-boy had hacked her results, but they never said that. Are we to assume she really was data-matched with robotics?
Not to mention that you don't necessarily go to the same school for college and med school. She could easily go to MIT for undergrad, then elsewhere for med school.
