Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I won't be watching SGU. TPTB have made it clear time and again that they don't want me as a viewer, and for once, I'm listening.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Well, perhaps. As I have no idea what the reference means....

I think it's a Larry Niven story about dopplegangers. I'm not entirely sure it's Niven, though.

Ah, yes! And I was sure someone would recognize it!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Warehouse 13: Someone needs to put a leash on Claudia. Two weeks now she's almost destroyed the Warehouse. Is she really worth the risk? Shouldn't she at least get put under heavy manners?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Someone needs to put a gun to her head. She's the new Dawn.

In theory I like her interactions with Artie, when I'm not hating on Artie. It's when she's left alone and starts blowing up the joint that she irritates me.

she's too much. Did Artie really need a sidekick?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I guess the show needed a computer/tech geek, since neither Myka nor Pete can do it and Artie is stuck in a weird steampunk place. I would like Claudia better if she'd lay off the Ritalin.

The haywire vacuum cleaner reminded me of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, where another cleaning device went off on its own to wreak havoc.

Leena's too zen to play off him, I guess. They needed more spark. But you can have interesting conflict without her burning the place down every week.

He used to seem all techy, back when he was trying to track down Claudia's hacks into the system. She was better, but as soon as she came on board he became a Luddite.
