Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did I miss anything important?

Not really. There's some Annie voiceover explaining how destiny plays the long game. I think that's all.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

You'all are hysterical. Best watch'n'post I never participated in.

Instead, I mainlined the first 3 eps of Children of Earth. Holy shit that's intense. Sadly, I already know how south things are going to go, but I loved watching the team do their thing on the down low for two episodes. Also, Peter Capaldi is just tragic as Forbisher (Frobisher?). You can see things eating away at him every step of the way, but he can't help but be true to his pathetic bureaucratic nature, even when he knows deep down it's wronger than a wrong thing.

All is well that ends in pizza.

And next week: Killer Frost!

Hopefully they will have a pony named Wildfire.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh God, that was so bad. For all the reasons everyone mentioned.

I need to watch Spring Break Shark Attack for redemption.

Will the hoot owl be cybernetic?

[2nd thought on edit]: maybe being cybernetic explained how the owl managed to howl rather than hoot

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Thanks for the link, Daniel. As a dream it does make a deal more sense.

Loved the Being Human finale. There were a couple of things that I thought could have used a bit more focus/explanation, but this show doesn't put me in a nitpicky mood. I just enjoyed it.

Me too, Ash. I understand there's news that there will be another season, yes?
