Mega-Shark vs. Giant Octopus is on Saturday on Sci-Fi. My husband's out of town. Who's up for a watch-and-post?
Cordelia ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Harrick, is it? - making it clear he was selectively choosing which humans were good or useful enough to turn), I kept thinking "This is not a sustainable system! What the hell are you planning to eat?"
exactly!
And Annie, oh Annie. For almost the entire episode I was so frustated and annoyed by her cowering and snivelling. I suppose I have been thoroughly spoiled by Buffy and her descendants, because I wanted Annie to speak up, or pick up something heavy to whack people with it. Crying on the floor, crying on the stairway, crying on the couch... none of those things help at all
I'm so with you.
On the other hand, her final confrontation with Owen was so spot-on I practically cheered at the TV. ('We have your scent now, and can track you to the ends of the earth...')
It was excellent, but it really seemed to come out of nowhere. Even the aside about the army of vampires didn't feel real.
Eureka: Really enjoying this season. I like Tess, and I see more chemistry between her and Carter than Carter and Allison ever.
yeah, I stil don't really like her. maybe I've been reading too much Stark/Carter. I also really thought it was unrealistic that they would make out in the lobby.
Why did that other ghost fall in love with Annie?
I don't really know.
The child-abuse storyline didn't bother me, considering there wasn't any child abuse actually happening. Did it occur to no one that possibly this screeching drunken woman was lying?
It actually seemed pretty realistic to me. pedophiles are something that people get really irrational about.

I'm pretty sure that in the preview I saw the shark jump out of the water and chomp down a helicopter, and I'm pretty sure I need to see that again.
Giant tentacles lashing through the air! Plus, I'm getting it on the HD feed, so I'll be able to watch it on Eastern time.
Oh Tentacles. For a second there I thought..
I could believe the Peedos assumption because Mitchell and George are just quirky and 'off' enough, not to mention possibly making the neighbors' back of the neck hair stand up because of their aura of supernaturality, if any.

IIRC, we get the view from the window of a passing 747 of the shark leaping upwards at the plane with jaws agape to chomp a mouthful of wing. So either the pilot thinks a jumbo jet is a seaplane, or the shark can jump 20,000 feet.
Oh, my. That looks like can't miss tv to me.
A new SwhyFwhy classic.
gives a whole new meaning to "jumping the shark" if a shark jumps and takes down a helicopter.
