The last one, "The Dead Line", makes very good use of Rhys. Kind of awesome.

In my head it replaces the "I die, you don't die" speechyfing in CoE. I like it and Jack's response much better.

I think they did more than identify it as Dodgson, unless my brain did the translation completely transparently. Maybe they used "Alice in Wonderland."
I am certain that it was previously identified as "Lewis Carroll's" mirror. First or second episode. I don't think it was spoken -- I think it was a label that went by quickly but was visible to the viewer.
