I think they really skipped past what he'd done in 1965. The flu vaccination explanation might have been excuse enough, but he never gave it and everyone's loyalty seemed relatively unswerved.
As for 2009, I think he showed a balance between something he knew had to be done and the cost of it.

Does SyFy have a S&P department? Because the visuals are really disturbing.
I want to like Warehouse 13, but the main characters are drawn with such a broad brush that they annoy me. They are such stock characters - uptight, by the book agent paired with wacky, irresponsible intuitive agent - they fight crime!

I happen to think the wacky intuitive agent is hot...and not that irresponsible. Unfortunately I have a highly developed talent of ignoring the unlikable female partner, so I can get past her.

yes, it was! There are some good things about the show, and I love Artie. I just hate the main characters. And can they shut the hell up once in a while?

I just assumed that when we were "told" about the flu vaccine they were too. Rhys did say it was a good trade (or something along those lines).
I thought it was Jack at the time who said it was a "good trade".
I like the main characters of Warehouse 13. Also, they are hot.

Rhys said something. They mentioned it in the commentary as one of the only times he's ever had Jack's back.
