A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I just hate that moment at the end of each episode when someone wants to come with, and the pain comes over his face and he refuses.
And I really liked this "temp" companion. It would be an interesting dynamic to have someone along with mad skills and who he couldn't quite trust.
However, it was nice to see The Doctor get well and truly snogged.
I know we've heard the "your story's almost over" line before, but wasn't the "it's coming, in the darkness" the same thing that Jack got told at one (or multiple) points?
I'm expecting him to say, "There's always something coming, and it's always darkness, and it's always the end..and it never ends. When does it really end? Will I really end? [pause] Sometimes I think 'this is the one, that's it,' but I just keep...going. [looks down] Oh! Pretzels!"
Also it was driving me crazy trying to figure out who played Malcolm, then I slowed down the end credits (thanks BeebA for making them impossible to read while watching live. not.): Lee Evans. I could have smacked my forehead.
I am not liking Carter's new love interest, if that is the reason she's there. Or maybe it was the writing, but she was shrill and overly invested in her proving her smarts. I mean, you're working at Global Dynamics, aren't smarts a given? But on the upside, Carter and Blake are suddenly having way more chemistry now that their whole relationship looks fritzed.
My sister was hoping that Rusty would get pelted with cream pies at Comic Con. Any word on fan reaction in person to Children of Earth?
Oh, and Eureka's been picked up for a season 4, but if memory serves they won't start shooting for forever, so don't hold your breath.

Good article over on BBCAmerica.com, ita. Apparently, the crowd began chanting "We want Ianto," ala the creepy children chant when he showed. But he was did his explaining and it sounds like folks were placated. I suppose the fact that they also got to see previews of the next few Doctor Who specials didn't hurt either.

Loved Malcolm, who names units of measure after himself and Quatermass!
Here's a link to the Guardian report of the BBC SciFi panels:

X-posted with Frank!
Fiona, you might mention that there are some serious spoilers in that link. It doesn't bother me, but others will not be happy.
