Talking to Nora on the train this morning about the most recent US Torchwood, I realized that it doesn't say much about Jack's life experience that Owen divesting himself of his Guiness is the MOST disgusting thing he's ever seen.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Also, WTF is up with the Senior Partner-esque little girl wielding Tarot at the beginning of the ep?
From the whitefont upthread: the MOTW stuff was pretty, well, lameass, as I feel it usually is. But the potential for the season long arc stuff (OMG, a member of the innter circle has gone evil! Where have I seen that before?) and the acting and the pretty are all still well and good.

As I said, Nora, Wolfram and Hart must have a Cardiff branch.
Well, if there is a rift AND a Hellmouth -of course they have a Cardiff branch.
Now, TW has an Immortal AND an undead person.
Also, Tivo recorded a TCM documentary called "Watch the Skies" about 1950s scifi movies that was really fun. They interviewed Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ridley Scott and James Cameron and had clips from all sorts of 1950s B movies. .. the actual forefathers of the Sciffy original movies.
So, Owen is more like a "Death Becomes Her" undead rather than a vampire or zombie undead.
I wonder if they are going to do a Pinocchio?
I wonder if they are going to do a Pinocchio?
It's not just his nose that grows?
BTW, there's a new episode or Reaper this week.
In the SPN timeslot.
I was a bit disappointed with Torchwood this week. I can only hope there's an arc reason for killing Owen, then more or less bringing him back to life. At the very least, a repercussion from Toshiko's "I love you."
So far the only compelling reason for killing Owen seems to be to make him more likable.
They killed Owen?! HA! (I have only watched 2 1/2 eps of TW so far, but I have a few friends who might be dancing a jig about that.) I imagine this is temporary state of affair, however.
Toshiko's "I love you."
Urgh. Really? I like Tosh (probably best among the crew) and I was hoping she'd over this ill-advised crush by now.
