Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

In retrospect, since Lois was there to Do Computer Transfer Stuff with Miss Stearns, they could have started by giving Lois all the passwords, and intend to change all the passwords after she'd left. Lois should have been bonded with a high government clearance and all....

That's better than most handwavium.

yes, and should have known not to do what she did. Poking in files beyond her clearance, asking a lot of questions, etc. will not move you along in government service.

Well yeah, but asking questions you shouldn't is how you end up working for Torchwood.

What Hub?

Well someone's got to come up with a new filing system!

Oh, I can imagine the issues with her and Ianto in the new space.

Ianto

The pronunciation of his name perplexes me. I hadn't heard it spoken until I watched Day 1, but on reading many MANY posts on LJ, I "heard" it in my head as "Ee-AN-to." Which is *sort of* how it's pronounced, with the Ee and the AN elided together really quickly. But to me it sounds like "Yanto."

(I have the same problem with Iago, which in retrospect should have tipped me off as to the pronunciation of Ianto.)
