A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, I was annoyed that Carter was basically not in the second episode of the season, but that's a fair reason!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

An episode last season (I think - possibly an earlier season) Jo had romantic dreams about Fargo. Originally, the dreams looked like they were Fargo's (as everybody was experiencing them) but they turned out to be Jo's. I was hoping this was going to be a follow-up to that (and get Poochie the fuck outta there), but at least Fargo got something out of it this episode.

Oh, and good on Colin. I was kinda wondering why he was so out of the loop the whole episode.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

For the record, that was Colin's directorial debut.

Good job, Colin.

When the pack of cards appeared in the room with Carter, I said, "Oooh, Fifty-two Pick Up."

Now, who wrote the science-y bits, cuz seriously? It was pretty rough. Not really enough to take me out of the moment on the first viewing (I saw it at work tonight, felt like I was cheating on Daniel, and then watched it again with him when I got home) but it was pretty glaring on the second time around.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Got round to watching Virtuality last night.

Damn you, Fox TV, for you are truly of the evil.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There was science? I mean, they really tried to explain anything? All handwavium grade magic to me.

As for the magic in Warehouse 13--I was thinking of it as a magic version of Eureka, because it started out with a magic device. So its sciencey turns have been what I've had to accept.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

The kodak moment was made of pure awesome. I want more random acts of niftiness.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That may be a better way for me to think about it, as magic, not weird science. Because science can = magic, but magic rarely = science.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the show a lot more than I thought I would, so I'll ::handwave:: on past the wacky camera.

And now I have to go watch Eureka! Which I kinda stopped watching after you-know-who died, but I'm back into it with this season.

Just 4 minutes in to Eureka, I suffered a personal disappointment quite apart from any sort of handwavium.

Snogging in your uniform. Really? 1) a huge breach of regulations 2) Jo? Who works so hard to be professional. She's going to play cute in her uniform in front of a room full of people?

Feh t /formerly 'on the job'

On the other hand, I'm loving Fargo even more than I thought I could.
