You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What is Children of Earth? Besides a Doctor Who movie. I seek more detail.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It's a Torchwood serial, not Doctor Who. Five parts, airing all nights this week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Airing all nights this week in the UK. Airing the 20th in the US. From the promos it seems that a) all the children stop at once b) Captain Jack kisses a man.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

ita, you forgot the part where Gwen looks spooked as a deer in the headlights.

Torchwood, Day Two, spoilery (obviously):

Possibly Jack's worst day ever. And Gwen's best. Do not fuck with the pregnant lady.

I'm all for Captain Jack kissing men.

I gave in and downloaded day 1. It was pretty cool. Let's see how long I hold out for day 2.

Considering I haven't even seen the series proper yet, I'll wait. But spoil on - by the time I see it, I'll have forgotten everything anyone said about it!
