Spike ,'Never Leave Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

Primeval: the upside of the deathrate amongst regular characters on the show is that I really believed that they would kill off Connor by having him pecked to death by giant flightless birds.

Other news: Farscape & Smallville both make TV Guides list of 100 Best episodes of all time.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

"Revenging Angel"? Seriously? I mean, it's okay, kind of kooky and fun, but really? Not "Two Dogs One Bone" or "Daedalus Demands" or "Won't Get Fooled Again"? Or heck, "... different destinations", which awesomely deconstructs the whole "preserve the timeline" trope.

Huh. TV Guide people are confusing.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

So, Merlin. They're not making the least attempt to conform to any historical period whatever, I see.

Art Crawl!!!

No, it's very Robin Hood esque in that sense.

But - cheesy fun.

(I really liked the Morgana singing magic sequence - that kind of rocked.)

Okay, that wasn't Morgana with the singing magic - because Morgana is the King's ward. (She was a random witch named Mary Collins.)

She was a random witch named Mary Collins.

Did we know why she did that? My attention was wandering.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Because Uther, in his campaign of being mean to witches, burned her son at the stake.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Primeval: What a bizarre reason to dress your cast up in vintage evening wear.

I do appreciate the women were still wearing their boots, though.

(IIRC, there's good reason to believe most of the extinct "terror birds" were vegetarian -- moas were, for sure. Which doesn't mean they couldn't kill you with a kick or two, but they're less likely to actually eat you after they do it.)

Our wings are not tired.

There is a Sarah Jane marathon on SciFi and my son's visiting friend has never seen the series. Fun to watch it straight through again, even with commercials.
