Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Watch Richard Dean Anderson age: [link]

The shots of him on "The Facts of Life" and "The Love Boat' are something...

Ha! That was excellent, Kristin.

"Package!" Indeed.

Heh, the summary of his Love Boat storyline is also something.

Carter Randall, Julie's cousin, is sailing on the cruise with his fiancée Muffy, played by Linda Blair. In a serious case of "cold feet", Carter begs Julie to help him back out of the wedding by getting Muffy to fall in love with another man. However, the "other man" ends up being Carter, in a cowboy disguise.

Poor guy. I bet "cowboy disguise" sounded like a foolproof plan! And I love the idea of Linda Blair as Muffy. Oh, television.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What's the typical budget for a SyFy movie?

I'm trying to picture what a Diamond Age movie would look like. If the movie has crap SFX, it can only suck.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Zoic can do some pretty amazing things on a medium-decent budget. Still, I'm concerned.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I heard somewhere under $2 million per for those SciFi originals they shoot in Romania, Tom.
