Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't wait, Liese. I hadn't thought I'd want to rewatch, but I can't tear myself away.

Sail--thanks for the heads up. I'm not a PD fan, but I do love Gina.

So, Doug Henshall is gone from the Primeval credits, with the DC guy in his place. I'm kinda scared the change might stick. They're running out of academics.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

My love for Torchwood grows with every repeat. I wonder if it's knowing about Tosh and Owen that changes it so in retrospect. I have very little of the hesitations I had the first time round.

I think you've hit it right on the nose. Knowing where Owen and Tosh go is HUGE.

Pssst. Gina Torres is on Pushing Daisies, tonight!

Yeah! I can't believe there hasn't been more PD talk. LOVED last week's (though I only caught up on it tonight). And Fred Williamson's cameo tonight was hysterical. If Gina Torres ends up playing who I think she's playing, this just makes the show so much more of a win to me (still a little behind due to falling asleep on the couch earlier).

Pushing Daisies. I am going to miss this show. A lot. The main cast is perfect (Olive in anybody's else's hands I'd find intolerable, but KC makes her amazing). I just hope they follow up on George Hamilton as Ned's dad next week or that will be a mystery we never get the answer to (except perhaps in comic form).

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I realized, watching PD, that in my heart, the characters will continue to have life and adventures. Which sounds corny, I know, but that's how real they are to me. It's just so sad that I won't get to see them.

Art Crawl!!!

What you said, Theodosia. Loved this week's episode. It was just so damn good.

Oh, I'm sure it will stick. I heard somewhere that Henshall wanted out.

I've seen the whole season, now, and, well. This show is deeply, deeply stupid. All the characters are stupid and they clearly think the viewers are, too. Hell, even Helen's stupid, because if she'd explained what she was doing, she might have gotten some help. Instead she simply became the Big Bad, with no motivation other than destruction.

I'm only vaguely interested to see where they take next season, assuming they're coming back.

Having only seen a handful of episodes from the first and third seasons, I'm bemused how a character has gone from a PR spokesperson to a team leader.

Because when I look for qualifications to head a group that deals with unknown and very lethal critters, needing a high level knowledge of biology and physics and other sciences, and using guns and tranquilizer darts, I always go for a background in marketing and public speaking.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, Pushing Daisies! I love you and don't want you to end!

Seconded. I want to keep it!

How much did I love the kid they got to play Young Emerson?
