The Torchwood trailer had me going to a Village of the Damned place. Big Time.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Made me think of Childhood's End, but creepy.
Oh, that's cool (and rather terrifying). I'm in such Doctor Who withdrawal this year, what with the lack of a proper season, that Torchwood's going to be awesome. I've missed the Welsh accents. Also, was that a moment of Captain Jack enjoying a snog? Gotta love that.
Watched the SyFy (ack! the name, it burns!) episode of Primeval which once again proves that this is the most incompetent team of experts ever, who get perfectly nice security guards killed and eaten without batting an eyelash AND go running off leaving unconscious team members lying on the floor when there are an unknown number of large and hungry predators on the loose.
They also got the baby raptor eaten, which at least reduced the number of predators they had to worry about, but still....
Yeah, scary Torchwood trailer! But I think that whole franchise it at its best when it's creepy.
I've been watching the reruns and enjoying them. I think I missed some in the season that's airing now, so it'll be good to catch up on those.

So true. 'The Empty Child' is in the very best hide-behind-the-sofa Doctor Who tradition, and I still can't watch 'Blink' without repeatedly spilling whatever I'm drinking.
True! Still afraid of statuary!
And still wanting a weeping angel statue for my garden.
...no one would be able to take their eyes off it.
Ha! That would rock.
(There was a scene in a cemetary in, I think, True Blood, where there was an angel statue. I wanted to warn them. )
Every time I go to a garden place, I look for weeping angel statues. The closest I have yet to find is a weeping cherub, which just didn't have the same degree of gravitas.
