I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If they are back with a season 3 and if they don't tone down the Sock, I will likely bail.

I am at peace with not having Chuck news 'til Tuesday, but I wouldn't say no to a cookie.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm with Barb - as long as she gives me the dark meat.

Works for me. I like white meat.

And cookies.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Did they just kill Jimmy Olsen on Smallville?

Dude, you can NOT kill Jimmy Fucking Olsen !

Not cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Don't know. When I read Superman in the sixties I always hoped someone would kill Jimmy Olsen.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Sock has been such a fucking annoyance this year. I remember wondering how Chuck could work with Morgan, but they've worked it amazingly. I still want him to find out like Awesome has, except I know he'd never in a million years be able to keep it to himself.

Though, with some of the stuff he's been doing lately, I think he might be able to. He's grown that much.

Side note - having Sam's devil brother being named Morgan has constantly thrown me into "who with the what with the who now?" moments all season.

I know! That is so confusing.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

The Sock segments have become those that I watch through my fingers, or from the hall.... that entire step-sister story arc made me cringe. On the other hand, I retain my fondness for Ben.

Anyone else watching Ashes to Ashes?

I'm enjoying this season much, much more than the last. Lots of nice little nuggets of information about Sam Tyler to keep my interest piqued. Also, Roger Allam as Gene's boss has been great. I'm almost sad they shot him in the last episode .

The use of Morph a couple of eps ago was a stroke of genius, almost as good as the Camberwick Green segue in LoM. "Why so sad, Sam?" Hee.
