Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

BAG, you deserved better.

He may have left under his own steam.

BAG, you deserved better.

Actually, I kind of respect the way they killed him. It was sudden and shocking and just as he was (maybe) reconciling with Sarah, and after she'd shown him his brother's grave. I am upset and more emotional than I expected, but it was bravely done.

Hell of an episode. I cannot WAIT to see what happens next week. Only one more episode! Waaaah!

I love the look John gave Cameron before they walked away from the electronics store. Between Charlie, Derek, and his mum's arrest, he's a big boy now. He may be future John Connor in all but events transpired. If any of those people were still around, they'd be at least nominally in care of him. For the first time he has to be in charge, and there's no one to stop him.

And he's pissed off.

Oy. All that angst over killing Sarkasian is going to be nothing. I worry about Ellison surviving the next 36 hours!

And Weaver is such a wildcard! What's going to happen!

Though not guffaw-inducing, BAG's tag was Deep Blue Sea-esque.

Shockingly appropriate.

I'll miss that character but I agree that Derek was misused. Such a shame. BAG brought an A-game I didn't know he had.

It's an interesting shake up. All but one of John's supports have become unmoored. Lot's of story potential in that. I hope they get the chance to tell a good one.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Damn. Happened to catch the tail end of the first Torchwood episode on BBCA, and I got a pang about Owen and Yoshiko. Gonna miss them if they don't find a way to make them show up.

But a pang about Owen? Would have thought that UNPOSSIBLE based on that episode. And yet...there it is.

Just saw the most recent SCC and I have to agree, Derek's offing was horribly brutal, but not inappropriate. So much good stuff in this episode. And I also agree that Thomas Dekker, having started off being a bit of a whiny, emo John Conner (which, to be fair, isn't that far off from Edward Furlong's take in T2), now seems ready to take the role of world's savior.

Actually, all the actor's are doing a marvelous job. And who knew Gareth Dilahunt could sing, along with being able to play all manner of monsters. Joss really needs to use him in something.

I'm terrified for Savannah at this point. Most of the episode I thought John Henry had developed true feelings, but now I'm pretty sure that's not the case.

Actually, I'm mostly scared there won't be another season so all this intriguing stuff will just be left dangling in the wind.

I was really tense for Savannah as well. In fact, I was impressed with the tension level of the whole episode. I usually watch while doing other stuff. Not this time.

yep. I stopped watching several eps ago, but would have stopped even earlier if it hadn't been for BAG.
