I would be there right now.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Having caught the last three minutes, all I can say is that they certainly took a goofily Phil K. Dickian approach to the ending. And also gave the show's title another meaning.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

basically, it was kind of Aliens-like and they all woke up from these pods that had the whole gang in a coma-like state. apparently, they were all scientists from the year 2035 and on their way to Mars to find some kind of "genes" so they can cure cancer. there was meteor storm(!!!) and it messed with the virtual world the scientists had set up for themselves. Sam wanted to be a cop in 2008, but instead was a cop in 1973 with memories from 2008! and he fell in love with his fellow scientist and they gave each other the googly eyes when they woke up andandand...

i'm not even making this up. how can you take something amazing and make it such complete and utter crap? i mean, really.

I refuse to believe you until tomorrow.

April Pranking T:SCC. I like Summer's lack of response. And Thomas's total response.

Well, it's a different sort of different from the UK series. Sets itself apart, and all that.

I wonder if they were always going to do that.

I do think the very last shot threw the whole thing into a realm of less than real, though. Like, this could just be another fantasy.
