'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What is even happening?

RDM posted on Skiffy in response to some comments about the BSG finale. I'm not sure what it mitigates for me, but it's interesting. [link]

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

SCC: Why did the breast cancer storyline have to be picked up this week?

Our wings are not tired.

It was a rough SCC in many ways, but it held my interest. I can't remember if the show is history, but I expect it is because I have really been enjoying it.

Art Crawl!!!

Also, I felt like the implant was a nice payoff to the oddity of that episode where the dream felt like reality and the reality felt like a dream.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Skipping.

I finished watching Dr. Who's Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead 24 hours ago (season 4, eps 8 and 9). I'm sure I'm behind everyone here, but I'll spolier-font from now on, just in case.

I'm still very emotional about it, and sadly, have to be in my university's library tomorrow (though, I'm really counting on jumping on innocent people and whisper, horrified, "count the shadows!" at them. Coz it's funny).

Paradise? He had to end it with a freaking paradise scene, and without Donna getting a decent guy? I mean, awesome eps and all, but grrrrrrr, I can't believe Donna's feelings are being used as a comic relief - it made me laugh, for a second - and then I got "oh God, if she only knew!" and got depressed.

Not to mention again, fucking paradise scene with Dr. Corday. He toyed with my trust, that Moffat man. "Everyone gets to live" is one, wonderful thing. Paradise scene with the "hey, lets continue sticking the Dr.'s female beloveds into some AU because the poor man can't face any more death" is unbelievable, in the bad way of it.

Tired now. Will coherent tomorrow.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

SCC is definitely canceled.
