A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It seems so unlikely that Fox would pick up something that's regularly pulling in an audience of less than 10 million. (It's not the CW!)
I thought anything over about 7 million was considered a hit these days? Last year Brothers & Sisters was pulling in about 12-13 million viewers on Sunday nights and the execs were doing cartwheels.
An 8% share isn't to be sniffed at (which is what SCC has). I think that was Drives' target actually, from memory.
I thought that Prison Break was said to be in decline when it couldn't break 10 million.
How big a budget does SCC have (compared to the norm)?
The license fee for SCC hasn't been disclosed on pickup, which is.. interesting. It does have, like, 18 producers on payroll. That said, it's apparently not THAT expensive a show, according to the showrunner.
The ratings very strongly map with Jericho. I just plotted it. Which, admittedly, I hadn't realised. It was a mistake to bring Jericho back; it's tanking badly.

I can't imagine it's cheap given how much shit blows up.
Although thinking about it that way, the pool shot might have been tricky to set up but they also avoided having to squib everybody up.
But I am loving season 2 of Jericho.
This article is very positive about SCC's return. It says it's been getting ratings comprable to
24.
I didn't know that - it seems that I've mostly been reading negative things about the ratings.
Oh man, there's all these newspaper and online articles saying it's a TV hit and FOX's biggest show in decades. Which it was - for the first episode. It's shit journalism.
Last night SCC got beat big style by Two and a Half Men. A repeat of Two and a Half Men, that is.
