Ooooh, you so shouldn't have told me that. Marathons! Thanks for the tip, bonny.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Re: Reaper --
Les Nessman!!! And I don't think they ever once acknowledged the source.
I cracked up when they said Les Nessman. And no one else got it, either?
I kept waiting for the punchline.
Thanks for the tip, bonny
My pleasure. Go forth and veg!
Kings suggested a passing thought. Would a world like that really develop the internet? Of course not exactly a sociological treatise, but it really strikes me as a historical accident (and something we could easily lose) - as much a social as a technological invention. Can imagine the same technology being invented, but can't imagine it let loose the same way. Also, all these competing warring kingdoms are going to agree to a common communication protocol? Of course maybe the fragmentation is only a North American thing. In which case the British empire is still going strong, and maybe they developed the internet.
Thanks for the tip about iTunes -- I've downloaded the pilot, so I'll be able to watch today.
FYI, Ian McShane was on The Daily Show last night, if folks want to catch a rerun or check online. He mentioned that he just finished a Sexy Beast sequel with Ray Winstone!
Also, all these competing warring kingdoms are going to agree to a common communication protocol?
Why not? Iran and North Korea are both online.
Queen "I don't want to get involved in politics" is evil and sleeping with her brother.
Ian McShane told Jon Stewart that they wouldn't be getting to the incest until season two, so you might be right.
